"Sean"

Rehomed to Worongary, Qld in December 2005 - Sean is yet another dog that has been adopted by his foster carers. It is hard not to fall in love with any dog, but particularly big, attractive, gentle Greyhounds! Sean is certainly no exception and the young couple that were kindly fostering him fell instantly in love with this happy fella and couldn't let him leave.


"Katie"

Rehomed to Brisbane, Qld in December 2005 - Katie has found love and companionship with a wonderful young couple who appreciate her gentleness and easygoing nature. First-time dog owners, Katie's folks are enjoying having this sweet, affectionate girl around and Katie is loving the lifestyle and lapping up the loads of attention.


"Billy"

Rehomed to Wongawallan, QLD in December 2005 - this young boy was re-homed to a wonderful, loving South African family with 2 little dogs, living on acreage. Here Billy will be part of the family and be extremely well looked after & receive all the nurturing and affection he deserves.


"Archie"

Rehomed to Carool, NSW in December 2005 - "Che-Che" as he is now affectionately known is staying on permanently with his foster carers - they cannot stand the thought of him leaving them so have decided to adopt him themselves. He lives with a Fox Terrier, Staffy pup and a cat on 7 acres and his foster carer reckons "he's the best dog I've ever had, and I've had dogs all my life". The whole family loves him and he adores them!


"Brin"

Rehomed to Murwillumbah - November 2005 - Brin was adopted by a single male wanting some canine companionship and these 'blokes' have become great mates. Brin is very happy being no. 1 dog and adores his new owner.


"Macey"

Rehomed to Tweed Heads in October 2005 - Macey's new owner fell in love with her at our PetzFest Adoption Day Rally. She is now settled in at her new home with her doggy companions and free-range Bantam chooks - Yes... living happily amongst chooks! A lovely home for a wonderful dog!

"Chase"

Rehomed to Varsity Lakes QLD in September 2005 - Mum and the kids have fallen in love with young Chase. He is now their cherished companion. Best friends already with their other dog and even tolerated by their cat, Chase is very comfortable in his new surroundings. They are very lucky people to have this big sooky, affectionate dog as their pet!".


"Rosie"

Rehomed to Banora Point, NSW in August 2005 - our lovely old Rosie has found a wonderful home to see out her 'twilight' years. Already a lucky Greyhound to have reached 12 years of age, Rosie is now blessed to be living in ultimate comfort, with two canine companions and a caring, compassionate human-friend to bestow lots of cuddles and attention on her in her old age!.


"Storm"

Rehomed to Narrabri, NSW in August 2005 - our beautiful Storm was lucky to be adopted by a nice family as a pampered pet and friend for their other dog, 'Macca'. She will live a very comfortable and interesting existence on their large property & be kept busy meeting and greeting the many guests of the guesthouse and function centre they operate.

"BJ"

Re-homed to Newcastle, NSW in September 2004 - one of two Greyhounds adopted by newly-passionate Greyhound lovers. BJ has taken a while to settle in his new environment but his patient and kind owners have persevered and now could not bear to part with him.

"Fred"

Re-homed March 2005 to Upper Coomera QLD - also adopted by his foster carers who are totally amazed and in awe of this beautiful dog. He has become a major part of their lives and they could not bear to give him up.

"India"

Re-homed March 2005 to Palm Beach QLD - adopted by her foster carer who fell in love with India and was not willing to part with her. Their companionship and devotion is now permanent!.

"Chance"

Re-homed March 2005 to Balmoral Village NSW - Chance was given his second chance when adopted by a lovely family with 3 kids and 2 other dogs in a rural village down south. From the Pound to spoilt bliss!!

"Theo"

Re-homed February 2005 to Bangalow NSW. Now best friend of Ruby, the Terrier x and now known as "Milo", he can be found lazing about his owners Chinese Antique shop or greeting the customers. He is also well known and well-liked by the local shopkeepers who all greet him on his daily walks, and is a favourite amongst both dogs and owners at the local showground where they run and play.

"Cassie"

Re-homed January 2005 to Wollongong NSW - adopted by young couple from the US who believe they have the "world's best dog!" They will be returning to the US later this year & Cassie will be going with them. California here she comes!

"Heli"

Re-homed December 2004 to Banora Point NSW - adopted by a lady who recently suffered a mild stroke and has proved to be the best therapy of all. They are now devoted to each other - see "Success Story" on Greyhounds page.

"Tipsy"

Re-homed October 2004 to Boambee East NSW - adopted by a couple with a Mastiff and a Shitzu x and a cat, and enjoying a spoilt life of running and swimming at the beach, living indoors and lots of love and attention.

"Coco"

Re-homed to Tallebudgera Valley - August 2004. Adopted by a family with a female Doberman and lots of room to run and play.

"Bear"

Re-homed to Newcastle NSW - September 2004. Adopted by a lovely couple and now their pride and joy - one much-loved boy!.

"Brutus"

Brutus was rehomed to Coffs Harbour NSW in July 2004 - adopted by a mechanic and his family and spends his days lazing around the workshop - overseeing the busy bustle of cars, mechanics and clients!.

"Bart"

Greyhound Cross Male Pup - rehomed to Murwillumbah NSW in May 2004 - adopted by a young women who fell in love with this gorgeous little character at one of our promo events.

"Teddy"

Rehomed to Tallebudgera QLD in April 2004 - adopted by a lovely family with an older Australian Silky Terrier - Teddy is now an adored part of the family and is well-known around the neighbourhood from his daily walks in the nearby park.

"Cee Cee"

Rehomed to Mooball, NSW in March 2004 - adopted by her foster carer who couldn't bear to part with her. She now, along with her cattle dog friend, Max, befriends all the foster Greyhounds that come to live with them temporarily.

"Sara"

Rehomed to Esk, QLD in March 2004 - adopted by a lovely couple who have 2 young daughters, a male pet Greyhound that they adopted from GAP a few years ago, and chooks, and they all live very harmoniously together. Sara enjoys the spoilt life which she so deserves!

"Jody"

Rehomed to Brisbane in February 2004 - adopted by a young couple as a playmate for their very active young Kelpie Cross pup. Very keen to have a Greyhound, Jody's new owner was very happy with her cute Greyhound Cross pup.

"Heidi"

Rehomed to Uki NSW in August 2003 - adopted by a nice couple with 2 cats (where the young cat is the 'boss' of the household). Heidi enjoys daily walks, romps on the beach and has full run of the property & home.

"Bimbi"

Adopted by us as our Promo dog in November 2003! Bimbi is a friendly, happy, photogenic boy - perfect as the Friends of the Hound mascot and great to take to promotional events. He lives with kids, 3 cats, horses, chooks, a guinea pig and lots of other dogs. He has attended Dog Obedience Training and performed very well. A great ambassador in the world of Greyhounds as pets.

"Tyson"

Rehomed to West Tweed Heads NSW in October 2003, Tyson was adopted by a wonderful couple who had owned a pet Greyhound for 12 years until it's recent death and couldn't bear to not have a Greyhound around their home. They fell in love with Tyson and adopted the big boy and he enjoys a very happy, spoilt life.

"Kasey"

Rehomed April 2005 to Cudgera Creek NSW - adopted by a lovely young family living on rural acreage as a friend for their energetic Labrador. Kasey made an early favourable impression and has more than lived up to her new owners' expectations.


"8-Ball"

Rehomed to Varsity Lakes, QLD in May 2005. Now known as "Jet" and best buddies with a male American Staffy "Thor". Living a spoilt, luxurious life with lots of walks and lots of love and attention. Just how it should be! His new owners and their family are all very impressed with this fella.

"Snowy"

Rehomed to Moorooka, QLD in May 2005. This precious little gem has found a wonderful home where she gets lots of love and cuddles. She shares this home with 2 cats and her lucky new owner realises his good fortune in finding this lovable, easygoing companion.


"Lee"

Rehomed to Sydney Metro area in May 2005. The lovely Lee was adopted by a nice gentleman who works from home and wanted a big, affectionate dog as a companion. Lucky Lee has the run of the house and yard is thoroughly spoilt. A very good life for her!.


"Hammer"

Rehomed June 2005 to Reedy Creek, QLD - this big lovable guy was adopted into a wonderful home with a sweet little Dalmation X pup and the two of them spend lots of fun bolting around their big yard together and going for trips to the family farm, where they run about with another two dogs. Hammer is living it up, with a life of luxury that any dog would envy. He fully deserves it!


"Beauty"

Rehomed to the Taree area, NSW in June 2005 - "Brittany", now known as 'Beauty, is one lucky young girl to find the absolute perfect home. She has lots of room to run about and play with her 2 new doggy friends, Jag and Angel, and a wonderful family to give her lots of love and attention, particularly her new companion and soul mate (and room mate), 9 year old Jordan. Bliss for Britt!
