FRIENDS OF THE HOUND NEEDS YOUR HELP.

WE NEED FOSTER CARERS TO PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME SO THE GREYHOUNDS WE HAVE WAITING TO COME IN TO OUR PROGRAM HAVE  A CHANCE TO LIVE AND GO ON TO HAVE A HAPPY FUTURE AS FAMILY PETS & COMPANIONS.

THE REALITY IS THAT THESE LOVELY REHOMABLE DOGS - SOME OF WHICH ARE VERY YOUNG, WILL BE DESTROYED BECAUSE THERE IS NO WHERE FOR THEM TO GO.

We are looking for foster carers in BRISBANE, SUNSHINE COAST

& GOLD COAST/TWEED.

Foster carers are such an important part of our rescue & rehoming process, so if you have some time, love, & a secure yard to provide a temporary home for one of our Greyhounds - please contact us now.

We will provide food and all medications for your foster greyhound.  All we ask is if you could provide a bed, a bowl and a loving environment.

Friends of the Hound also require help with transportation, promotional events, & fundraising.  As a small, not-for-profit group with limited resources & finances, we rely heavily on the kindness & generosity of the community & DONATIONS to continue our successful rescue & rehoming program.

Please consider becoming a MEMBER & support the greyhound cause.

Friends of the Hound also has merchandise available that you can purchase.

It all helps.

Please help us to help these dogs.

Our Greyhounds are based mainly in the Northern Rivers NSW, Gold Coast and Greater Brisbane area of Australia.  However, through the assistance of wonderful carers and supporters from further afield we generally have available Greyhounds located in other areas throughout South-East Queensland and New South Wales (eg. Sunshine Coast QLD, Sydney, Newcastle, Central Coast, South Coast NSW & ACT).

"Paddy" - almost 2 year old Male

Fawn Brindle

Paddy is litter brother to Lizzie & Mickey who have just been rehomed &, despite being dumped in a pound because we couldn't take him quick enough, we managed to rescue him.  (That's the reality for these dogs - they have to be quick, ...or we need to be quick to take them all.... or it's bye-bye).  Paddy is a darling big boofy boy - very playful & outgoing.  He should make a wonderful family pet.
