New volunteer position open;
Website & IT Manager
Our rescue group requires a dedicated volunteer to fill this important position…
- support FOTH volunteers who use the website to create content & manage online store
- work with Graphic Designer to update website (plug-ins, modifying CSS, etc)
- lead a project to redesign website
- help support FOTH volunteers using the online management tool for fostering, adoption & membership (Shelter Manager)
- work with website hosting company to resolve any server issues for website
- set up new users & email accounts using Google Workplace
- support other ad hoc projects (online auctions , competitions & other fundraisers)
- support FOTH volunteers with other generalised IT tasks (social media platforms)
SKILLS
- intermediate WordPress skills & knowledge of common plug-ins
- WooCommerce
- Web hosting technologies (cPanel, domain management)
- Google Workplace (user maintenance, Gmail, Google forms, etc)
- Animal Shelter Manager (ASM)
- PayPal integrations
- YMLP & Mailchimp email marketing software
Our last Greyhound Geek helped us for nearly 15 years but sadly has to move on.
